Takahashi was born in Kawaguchi on February 19, 2000. She joined her local club Urawa Reds from youth team in 2018.
National team career
In 2016, Takahashi was selected Japan U-17 national team for 2016 U-17 World Cup. She played as forward at 4 matches and scored 3 goals including 2 goals against Spain at semifinals. Japan won the 2nd place.
In 2018, Takahashi was selected Japan U-20 national team for 2018 U-20 World Cup. She played as center back with Moeka Minami in full time in all 6 matches and Japan won the championship.
On October 6, 2019, Takahashi debuted as substitute defender for Japan national team against Canada.
