VÁRHELYI Gyula [va:rheji] estis rumania hungara historiisto, publicisto. Li naskiĝis en Kézdivásárhely la 22-an de septembro 1891 kaj mortis en Târgu Secuiesc la 2-an de decembro 1935.
Biografio
Gyula Várhelyi komencis pristudi teologion en Kalocsa, sed li transskibiĝis al Universitato Ferenc József de Koloĵvaro, kie li komencis pristudi historion-geografion. Pro la unua mondmilito li finis siajn studojn nur poste. Li instruis en Sibio kaj Alba Iulia. Li defendis sian doktordisertaĵon en 1922 en Szeged. De 1924 li instruis en sia naskiĝurbo ĝis sia morto.
