Gururaj is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Kannada cinema. He rose to fame with 2009 film Gilli.
Career
Gururaj made his acting debut in 1994 with Beda Krishna Ranginata starring his father Jaggesh. In 2002 he wrote a story for his father's movie Makeup. In 2007 he acted in Tamashegagi along with his uncle Komal. He rose to fame as a lead actor in 2009 movie Gilli remake of Tamil film 7G Rainbow Colony. In 2012 he acted in Guru directed by his father Jaggesh. In the same year he acted in Sankranthi. In 2015 he acted in Paipoti. Currently he is doing an prominent role in Leader starring Shiva Rajkumar.
Personal life
Gururaj was born in Bangalore, Karnataka, India to prominent actor Jaggesh and Parimala Jaggesh. He has an younger brother Yathiraj Jaggesh. His uncle Komal is also an actor in Kannada cinema. He married his long time Dutch girlfriend Katie Pyle from the Netherlands on 24 April 2014. The couple have a son named Arjun.
