Giuseppe Matarrese (* 3. Juni 1934 in Andria) ist Altbischof von Frascati.
Leben
Giuseppe Matarrese empfing am 15. März 1959 die Priesterweihe. Johannes Paul II. ernannte ihn am 11. November 1989 zum Bischof von Frascati und wurde am 14. Januar des nächsten Jahres in das Amt eingeführt.
Der Kardinalvikar und Erzpriester der Lateranbasilika, Ugo Kardinal Poletti, weihte ihn am 16. Dezember desselben Jahres zum Bischof; Mitkonsekratoren waren Giovanni Battista Re, Substitut des Staatssekretariates, und Luigi Liverzani, emeritierter Bischof von Frascati.
Am 2. Juli 2009 nahm Papst Benedikt XVI. sein altersbedingtes Rücktrittsgesuch an.
