Biography
Giuliano Calza is an Italian fashion designer.
Early life and education
Giuliano Calza was born in Naples, Italy in 1988. He attended Bocconi University in Milan, where he received both a BA in political science and a Masters in Marketing and Communication. At the age of 23 he received a scholarship to Shanghai University and moved to China for four years. During this time he worked in design and in the art and fashion industries.
Design career
In 2015 Calza co-founded GCDS, which stands for “God Can’t Destroy Streetwear”, with his brother Giordano. GCDS is a luxury streetwear fashion label, for which Calza is the head designer and creative director. He is also known for his use of bright colors. In 2018 Calza was named to Women's Wear Daily's "40 of Tomorrow" list and the Business of Fashion 500 list.
