Georgios Skiathitis (Greek: Γεώργιος Σκιαθίτης; born 26 June 1983) is a Greek Goalkeeper coach of PAOK FC. He was born in Kozani, Greece.
Coaching career
Born in Kozani, Giorgos Skiathitis got a degree in Physical Education specialized in football, has a UEFA B coaching degree and has trained as goalkeeping coach in England and Poland. He owns the goalkeeping school PST – Personal Soccer Training – PST Keepers. He joined PAOK to train the young goalkeepers of U15, U14, U13 and U12 squads.
He has also worked for the Arsenal FC academy, responsible for scouting picks from South-Eastern Europe for the 12-16 age group. He had also spells at Apollon Kalamaria, Achilleas Triandria’s senior squad, Anagennisi Epanomi, Niki Polygyros, Anatolia College, as well as Machites Pefka and Shooters academies.
In his football career, he got to play for Apollon Kalamaria, Lyki, Orfeas Souroti, Niki Polygyros, Anagennisi Epanomi, Pyrsos Grevena, Eordaikos, Prosotsani and Pandramaikos.
