Georgi Ajanovski (Macedonian: Георги Ајановски), (born 22 November 1940, Edessa, Greece) is a prominent Slavic Macedonian journalist. He was evacuated from Greece as a childas one of the many political refugees of the Greek Civil War.
Biography
He is the son of Vangel Ajanovski, a prominent leader of the Slavic-Macedonian National Liberation Front. He was born into a family of four along with his sister Dora, and two brothers Risto and Vladimir. He was evacuated to the People's Republic of Yugoslavia at the age of 8. He soon became a leading journalist at the Macedonian language newspaper "Nova Makedonija". He later would go on to write for Makedonija Denes and Denes newspapers. He published the first part of his children's novel "Vani" in 1973. He became a member of the "Association of Writers from Macedonia" in 1974. In 1998 he published the second part of the children's Novel "Vani". He has been an active campaigner for the many Aegean Macedonians who left Greece as political refugees in the 1940s and 1950s. He was the President of the organizational committee of the "Fourth World Meeting of the Children Refugees.
