Biography
Geoff Fox (born July 26, 1950) is an on-air American television broadcast meteorologist with a career spanning over 30 years. For 27 years he was with the television station WTNH in New Haven, Connecticut, where he served as Senior Meteorologist until 2011. and later with WTIC-TV in Hartford, Connecticut where he was the weeknight 5:00 and 11:00 P.M. meteorologist, as well as reported science and technology stories for the 4:00 P.M. newscast and wast, as well as host for a garden segment titled "Geoff's Garden".
He attended and graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School. Fox received a certificate in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University, and holds a broadcast seal from the American Meteorological Society.

In 1984 Geoff Fox became a meteorologist for the television station WTNH in New Haven, Connecticut.
In 1995, in addition to working for WTNH, Fox began hosting the program Inside Space, a program on Syfy (SciFi Channel at the time).
On January 5, 2011 after 27 years at WTNH Fox was informed by WTNH management that his contract would not be renewed at the end of February. His departure received national media attention with reports of a "Keep Geoff Fox on WTNH" Facebook page receiving a number of "likes" ranging from 9,273 to over 10,450.
In April 2011 he was hired by FOX affilitate WTIC-TV; which was "seen as a marketing coup for the slogan Fox on Fox" where he did the weather and science reports on weeknights He was dismissed after 19 months, for what the station identified as "inappropriate conduct"later adding that it was "unfortunate and sad," but "necessary". Later on Fox developed an internet based company for designing and building websites.
In late spring 2013, the Foxes decided to move, leaving Connecticut behind for southern California, mostly to be closer to their daughter, who works in TV production in Hollywood—and because Fox said he's done dealing with winter.
In January 2015, Fox returned to TV in southern California by joining KMIR-TV NBC 36 in Palm Springs. He announced the news on December 18, 2014. Geoff Fox worked as Meteorologist for KMIR-TV from early 2015 until September 23, 2015.
On August 19, 2015, Geoff Fox announced that he will be working as the on-air Meteorologist for "News Channel Nebraska’s first station in Norfolk." With more stations on the way. Fox forecasts for News Channel Nebraska from his home studio weather center built in his garage.
