Frederick Thomas Attenborough (born January 1983) was lecturer in Communication and Media Studies at Loughborough University (2009–2015). His research interests were in and around discursive psychology, ethnomethodology and rhetoric. His work studied various media forms, including: films and documentaries, online and offline advertising, print press journalism and social media.
Career
Academia
Attenborough began his career as Lecturer in Human Geography in the Department of Geography at Loughborough University in 2009 where he researched the practices and interventions that medical microbiologists used to open up the microbial world to medical perception. From 2009 to 2015 he was Lecturer in Communication and Media Studies at the Department of Social Sciences, Loughborough University. His research interests were in and around discursive psychology, ethnomethodology and rhetoric. His work studied various media forms, including: films and documentaries, online and offline advertising, print press journalism and social media.
