Biography

Forrest Allen Loudin was an American football coach in the United States. He was an alumnus of the University of Iowa, where he played football. Previously he had also coached and taught science and athletics high school in Iowa.

Coaching career

Loudin was the head college football coach for the Carthage Red Men located in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He held that position for 4 seasons, from 1916 until 1920. His coaching record at Carthage was 8 wins, 13 losses and 2 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2012 season, this ranks him #9 at Carthage in total wins and #13 at the school in winning percentage (.391).

Loudin was also professor of Mathematics and Physical Director at his time at Cathage. He died at Keokuk, Iowa in 1935 of an illness contracted during his overseas service in World War I.
