Paulo Ricardo de Azevedo Júnior, better known as Father Paulo Ricardo (Recife, Pernambuco, November 7, 1967), is a Brazilian Catholic priest, TV host, writer, and professor.
He was ordained a priest on June 14, 1992, by Pope John Paul II, and got a master's degree in Rome (Pontifical Gregorian University). He is currently Parochial Vicar of Cristo Rei Parish, in Várzea Grande (MT), and is dedicated to evangelization through the media. He teaches Theology at the Benedict XVI Institute of the Diocese of Lorena (SP), since 2011.
Conservative writer, author of more than a dozen books he presents the weekly program The Eighth Day, by TV Canção Nova. He has more than 1 million followers on Facebook. He is a major conservative leader in Brazil. The writer, journalist and philosopher Olavo de Carvalho was a major influence in his work.
Father Paulo Ricardo also teaches courses related to conservatism and the Catholic religion.
