Ervin Fenyves [fenjveŝ], laŭ hungarlingve kutima sinsekvo Fenyves estas hungara-usona fizikisto, profesoro, membro (ekstera en 1998) de Hungara Scienca Akademio.
Ervin Fenyves [1] naskiĝis la 29-an de aŭgusto 1924 en Budapeŝto.
Biografio
Ervin Fenyves instruis en Universitato Eötvös Loránd inter 1946-1950, poste li aŭ instruis samloke, aŭ li esploris en fizika instituto en sia naskiĝurboo, sed tamen li pasis 2 jarojn en Dubna en la 1960-aj jaroj. En 1960 li doktoriĝis el fiziko. En 1968 li ricevis postenon en Vieno, en la sekva jaro li estis gastoprofesoro en Pensilvanio, poste en Dallas li instruis ekde 1970. Fine li instruis en Richardson (Teksaso) ĝis 1992. Li ricevis premion Kossuth en 1965, pli frue kaj post po unu aliajn premiojn.
