Erik Meyer

Erik Meyer is a former American football quarterback who played for the Seattle Seahawks in the National Football League (NFL).

Meyer played college football for Eastern Washington University. He set numerous school, conference, and national records during his time as the starting quarterback.

Although Meyer had a successful college career, his professional career in the NFL was short-lived. He was signed by the Seattle Seahawks but spent most of his time on the practice squad and did not have many opportunities to play in games.

During his college career, Meyer was named the Big Sky Conference offensive player of the year three times and the Walter Payton Award winner as the most outstanding player in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). He also led Eastern Washington University to their first-ever FCS national championship in 2010.

After his professional football career, Meyer transitioned to coaching. He has worked as a quarterbacks coach at various high schools and colleges, including his alma mater Eastern Washington University.
