Biography
Edwin E. Woodman was a member of the Wisconsin State Senate.
Biography
Woodman was born on June 1, 1838 in St. Louis, Missouri. He moved to Wisconsin in 1856, settling in Janesville, Wisconsin. Later, he lived in Monroe, Wisconsin and Baraboo, Wisconsin. During the American Civil War, he was commissioned a captain in the 13th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Regiment of the Union Army. He spent parts of service on the staffs of Brigadier General Robert S. Granger and Major General Lovell Rousseau.
Political career
Woodman was a member of the Senate from 1880 to 1881, representing the 14th District. He was a Republican.
