Edward Mena

Edward Mena (born 15 April 1990) is a noted Venezuelan singer. Winner of the Estrella Music Award 2009, Nominated to Idol Awards 2013 and most recently, winner of the Popularity Award at the Miami International Song Festival 2015 representing his country Venezuela. With his powerful voice, he has shared the stage with many famous and international Latin artists such as Tania Libertad at the Mesa Arts Center in Phoenix, Arizona; with Paloma San Basilio, Luis Enrique, Ilan Chester, and others at the Bank United Center in Miami during the concert "Venezuela is Much More", broadcast live by the Venezuelan National network Televen for the entire country. And has performed in many more important stages, such as the James L. Knight Center, the Bellas Artes Theater, Miami Dade County Auditorium next to Spanish star Pastora Soler, and has worked and recorded with some of the greatest Latin musicians, including Latin Grammy winners Ed Calle, saxophonist, and Rolando Grooscors, guitarist. In 2011, he recorded the single "Me Equivoqué Otra Vez" by the hand of 2 time Grammy winner Cuban Producer Roberto Morales, written for him by respected Venezuelan singer/songwriter Trino Mora. By 2014, he released his album "Mexico es una Canción" (Mexico is a Song), promoting it in Miami, Chicago, New York City and Phoenix with success. On July 25, 2015 Edward wins the Popularity Award at the Miami International Song Festival 2015, with his song "Soy Latinoamericano" (I'm Latin-American) composed by Venezuelan songwriter Henry Gonzalez. Currently, he continues working on many new projects and performing regularly. In 2016, he starts recording with 16-Time Grammy Award Winner producer Humberto Gatica.
