Biography
Dulcie Iona Hollyock (29 June 1914 – 15 November 2004) was an Australian librarian, educator and writer. The Dulcie Hollyock Room in the Baillieu Library, University of Melbourne is named in her honour.
Biography
Hollyock was born in Essendon, Victoria in June 1914. She received arts and education degrees from the University of Melbourne. She was Chief Librarian of the Victorian Teaching Training Colleges from 1950 to 1974 and was also a published author of magazine articles and books (mostly romances). She published two novels in the Harlequin Gothic Romance series: An Innocent Madness (1984) and Double Masquerade (1985).
Awards
Hollyock was awarded the Society of Women Writers’ annual short story prize in 1972.
