Biography
Dhirendra Pal Singh is an Indian naturalist and academic administrator . He was the ex vice chancellor of Devi Ahilya University at Indore. He was Executive Editor of the Indian Journal of Vocational Education.
Career
Singh was a professor of environmental science at the PSS Central Institute of Vocational Education. Subsequently, he was Vice-Chancellor of Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. Prior to joining BHU, he was Vice-Chancellor of Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar, the oldest University of Madhya Pradesh. During his tenure at Sagar, the University was reaccredited with 'A' grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2007.
While he was Vice-Chancellor of Banaras Hindu University, it was declared the NO.1 university of India by India Today.
