David Yost

Biography
David Yost is an American football coach. He is the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the FIU Panthers football team.
Coaching career
Yost started his coaching career at Tiffin as their wide receivers coach. After one year with Tiffin he would be promoted to be the team's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. After eight years with Tiffin, the next stop for Yost would come with Toledo as their quarterbacks coach where he would stay for five years. Yost would then be hired to coach the quarterbacks for Missouri. After eight seasons as the tigers quarterbacks coach he would become the team's offensive coordinator. However, after 12 years with Missouri, Yost would resign from his position. However, Yost would head to Washington State as the team's wide receiver coach for three years. Yost would be then be hired by Oregon to be their passing game coordinator. Then after just one year with Oregon, Yost would be hired by Utah State to fill the team's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach positions. In his time with Utah State he was named a Broyles Award semifinalist in 2018 after helping the team achieve school records in points 542, and touchdowns 69. After two years with Utah State, Yost would be hired by Texas Tech as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the team. However, after only two years with Texas Tech, Yost would be fired. Yost would then take a job at FIU as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
