Biography
Darcey Vanderhoef is an American actress. Born in Racine, Wisconsin, but raised in Tucson, Arizona. A 1992 graduate of Palo Verde High School. The majority of her film work is in the horror film genre. Her debut was a brief role as a screaming teenager in Mark of the Devil 666: The Moralist (1995). She then portrayed Nancy, one of the titular killer teenagers in the shot-on-video cult movie 5 Dark Souls (1996) and its 1998 and 2003 sequels. She had smaller roles in the horror films The Frightening (2002) by David DeCoteau, Deadly Stingers (2003) directed by J.R. Bookwalter, and Case #1 of the comedy series Bad Movie Police by John Treacy. Bigger roles came with her character "Maggie" the October Moon film franchise, for which she is possibly best-known. She has also had lead roles in the comedy Shy of Normal: Tales of New Life Experiences (2011) and Safe Inside (2013).
Vanderhoef occasionally models, and has appeared in magazines such as Femme Fatales. She is the cousin of filmmaker Jason Paul Collum and is often cast in his films.
