Danie Joubert

Danie Joubert is a South African film and television actor and director, known for directing the film, Jock: A True Tale of Friendship (1994,) and television series such as  The Game (1993,) and Binnelanders (2015.)

Joubert made his acting debut in 1973, playing the character of Pieter Retief in David Millin-directed film, Die Voortrekkers. In 1979, he played "Capt. Mike Steenberg" in the film Grensbasis 13.

As a director, his first television series was Moordspeletjies, in 1988. In 1993, he directed the television series, The Game. His last works as the director was the television seires, Binnelanders, in 2015.

Joubert won an Artes Award in 1995 as best director (TV1).
