Biography
Claudia Losch (born 10 January 1960) is a retired German shot putter. She is the 1984 Olympic Champion. At the 1988 Olympic Games, she finished fifth. She is also the 1989 World Indoor Champion and won the European Indoor title three times.
Losch won the German indoor championship in the shot put in 1983, 1984, 1987, 1988, and 1989. She won the German championship from 1982 through 1990, nine times in a row.
