Biography
Christopher Fürst (født 1749 i Risør, død 1829 i Arendal) var en norsk skipsreder, kjøpmann og stempelpapirforvalter i Arendal. Fürst anla også en skipskran i Kolbjørnsvig i 1797. Fürst ble gift med Maren Otte Beck i 1776 og sammen fikk de ni barn, deriblant Wittus Juell Fürst og Johan Fürst.
Marienlund
Fürst tilhørte Arendals borgerskap og eide gården Marienlund, også kjent som Kokkeplassen på Hisøy. Til eiendommen hørte også øya Store Torungen.
Lassens hus
Christoffer Fürst kjøpte i 1809 også Lassens hus i Arendal. Huset er nærmeste nabo til Kallevigs palé, eller Arendal gamle rådhus. Fürst gav huset til sin sønn Johan Fürst.
