Christina Bennett Lind (born March 22, 1983) is an actress notable for her role as Bianca Montgomery in ABC's soap opera All My Children. She has an identical twin sister named Heather Lind who is also an actress.
Early life and education
Christina Bennett Lind was born in Upland, Pennsylvania.
Lind attended public school through grade school and went to a private University, Fordham University. She also attended New York State Summer School for the Arts both as a visual artist as well as a performing artist. She states that this was "a big part of my decision to follow the arts as a career."
Early career
Her first acting role was Viola in Twelfth Night, with her twin sister, Heather, playing the role of her twin brother, Sebastian. It was the first production that came out of her English teacher's idea to start a drama club in middle school. She was in 8th grade. However, before that, her sisters and her spent countless summers making theatre, dance, and music in a big red barn in Nova Scotia that was a part of her grandparent's property. "We took it very seriously. We all claim it as some of our finest work, and, in seriousness, the start of our lives as artists and art advocates," she explains. Christina's first job on screen was a short film a college friend made on 35mm film, and she played a ventriloquist doll. Her first television job was As the World Turns as a college buddy of one of the regulars, Billy Magnussen; the character's name was Ari.
Career
In 2009 she was the editor for the Short, Comedy, Drama film Love Like a Wheel.
Lind played the role of the iconic Bianca Montgomery on All My Children from June 2010 to September 2011, until the show's cancellation on network television.
She is currently organizing an artist's collective, The Neboya Collective, that has appeared in multiple stage productions, and is currently developing multiple independent film projects.
In the 2013/2014 season, Lind starred as "Marion" in the stage adaption of Robin Hood entitled "Heart of Robin Hood" at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, MA.
She is currently listed as one of the co-producers for the 2016 post-production film Occupy, Texas and worked the sound department and is a co-producer for the completed upcoming Short, Documentary, Biography film Starring Austin Pendleton.
Philanthropy
Lind is interested in placing her support in women's support organizations and LGBTQ organizations. Lind is also interested in supporting self-confidence in girls and women and, specifically, their body images, so she's currently looking for organizations she can work with to encourage self-love and respect. She explains "I am continually floored by how many beautiful women I know who have struggled with this. I want to at least discuss it publicly."
