Burke Day (April 12, 1954 – March 5, 2017) was an American politician and writer.
Biography
Born in Jacksonville, North Carolina, Day went to Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia. He worked in real estate and investments. He lived in Tybee Island, Georgia and served on the Tybee Island City Council from 1991 to 1994. He then served in the Georgia House of Representatives from 1995 to 2011 and was a Republican. He died at his home in Tybee Island, Georgia.
