Brad Warner

Brad Warner is an American Zen Buddhist priest, author, blogger, and punk rock bass guitarist. He is known for his unconventional approach to Zen practice and for incorporating elements of pop culture into his teachings.

Brad Warner began his Zen practice in the 1980s under the guidance of Tim McCarthy, a student of well-known Zen master Gudo Nishijima. He later became a student of Nishijima himself and eventually received dharma transmission (authorization to teach) from him.
