Biography
Blaž Vrhovec (born 20 February 1992 in Ljubljana) is a football midfielder from Slovenia. He plays for Maribor in the Slovenian PrvaLiga.
Career
He made his debut in European competitions on 5 July 2012, in first preliminary round of Europa League, against FC Dacia Chişinău. He scored his first goal in Slovenian top division on 11 August 2012 against Mura 05. On 23 March 2016, he made his debut for the Slovenia national football team against Macedonia. In June 2016 he signed a three-year contract with Maribor.
