Ben Bottoms is an American television actor and artist best known for Stalk the Wild Child (1976), More American Graffiti (1979) and Joseph's Gift (1998).
Life and career
Bottoms was born on 3 December 1960, in Santa Barbara, California, to a sculptor and an art teacher. He is the brother of actor Sam Bottoms, Joseph Bottoms and Timothy Bottoms - all actors.
Bottoms began his acting career with NBC TV drama Stalk the Wild Child (1976,) alongside his brother Joseph. He made his big screen debut in the sequel More American Graffiti (1979) with Bo Hopkins and Ron Howard.
He is the recipient of Santa Barbara Foundation Artist in Residence and Audience Development grants for his work as a director, designer, and artist at Santa Barbara High School.
In addition, he received local Indy Awards for his performances in "All in the Timing" and "The Heiress."
Before taking up acting professionally, Bottoms was a visual artist.
