Arkaitz Ruiz de Miguel (born 18 July 1989) is a Spanish footballer who plays for Hong Kong Premier League club Dreams as a centre forward.
Club career
Born in Navarre, Ruiz is a product of the youth academy of Osasuna. He made his senior debut with Basconia in 2008 and in the following year, he was promoted to Bilbao Athletic which competed in the Segunda División B. In July 2011,he signed for Sporting Mahonés after a season with Poli Ejido where he found the next twice in 35 matches. In December 2011, he was transferred to Burgos, but at the end of the season the club was relegated to the Tercera División. He continued with the club in the fourth tier and he also scored the goal which saw his club being promoted to the Segunda División B. In July 2013, his contract was renewed, keeping him in the club for another season.
In 2014, after three seasons with Burgos, Ruiz moved to Zamora. He joined Somozas in 2016 after a single season with Tudelano where he scored three goals in 32 matches. In 2017, he switched clubs and countries, moving abroad for the first time and signed for Hong Kong club Dreams where he joined fellow Spaniards Pablo Gallardo, José Pedrosa Galán, Nacho Martínez and Joaquín García Barbero. He made his debut against Tai Po where he also scored the equaliser which resulted in the match ending in a draw.
