Andries Jonker

Biography
Andries Jonker (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɑndris ˈjɔŋkər], 22 September 1962) is a Dutch former footballer and manager who is also the head of Arsenal F.C.'s Academy.
Jonker was at the helm of Holland outfits Willem II, MVV and Volendam and was also the assistant manager of VfL Wolfsburg, FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich as well.
Managerial career
Jong Oranje
Two years after taking upon the managerial status upon that of DRC Amsterdam II in 1988, Jonker attained the post as the head of management of the Netherlands's youth teams. He eventually held on to this role for a total of seven years in all.
FC Volendam
The post of Volendam's manager was taken by Jonker in July 1999. Jonker went on to be at the helm of Volendam at and away from the Kras Stadion until late June of the following year.
MVV Maastricht
In July 2004, Jonker was appointed as the head of MVV Maastricht. With him as manager of the club, the Sterrendragers got to the quarterfinals of the KNVB Cup of 2006.
Willem II
Jonker was at Willem II for the 2006–07 season in the role of an assistant manager. He then, in the following season, took upon the helm of the Tricolores til up to February of 2009.
Bayern Munich
He came to Bayern Munich as assistant to Louis van Gaal in July 2009. Wherein this position, Jonker won the double of the Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal of 2010. He then took over the side on an interim basis from April 2011 until the end of that season. Jonker, in June 2011, became the manager of Bayern Munich II. Jonker eventually left the club in June 2012.
VfL Wolfsburg
Jonker immediately joined Wolfsburg, thus staying in the Bundesliga. At the Volkswagen Arena he attained the role of an assistant manager, seeing the Wolves get to the semi finals of the DFB-Pokal of 2013.
Arsenal
Jonker was announced as the new academy manager at Arsenal ahead of the 2014–15 season, where he replaced Liam Brady.
