Biography
Anaswara Rajan (born 8 September 2002) is an Indian film actress who predominantly works in Malayalam films. After acting in a short film, she became noted and was later chosen to play a key role in Udaharanam Sujatha where she acted alongside leading Malayalam actress Manju Warrier. After a short break, she appeared in the Malayalam film Evide? and then in the highly successful romcom Thanneer Mathan Dinangal , the latter which gave her major break. Her upcoming films are Raangi and Adhyarathri. Anaswara is making her Tamil film debut with Raangi which stars Trisha in the lead role.
Career
Anaswara Rajan made her acting debut by acting in a short film directed by Ratheesh, the makeup man of popular filmstar Dulquer Salman. Liju Thomas, a Malayalam film director, who happens to be the family friend of Anaswara showed her the advertisement of an audition for an upcoming film. She got selected for the final audition where she was asked to enact a rebellious school girl. Impressed by her performance she was chosen to play the role of Athira Krishnan in Udaharanam Sujatha from about 60 applicants, the Malayalam film adaptation of the critically acclaimed Bollywood film Nil Battey Sannata. She decided to do films only after finishing school. However, it was when actress Manju Warrier called her and mentioned about Evidey? due to which she decided to accept it. Following that she accepted to be a part of Adhyarathri and Raangi. It was when Adhyarathri got delayed that she was approached to play the lead role in Thanneer Mathan Dinangal. She initially had the thought to turn down the project but later accepted it due to words from her elder sister.
