Biography
Alkis Raftis is a researcher in the field of dance, including ethnographic research on traditional Greek dance.
As of 2013 Raftis is the president of International Dance Council at UNESCO, Paris. Since 1987 he is president of the national Dora Stratou Dance Theatre and Company in Athens.
