Biography
Alfred Meric (Aurelhac, 23 de setembre de 1870 - Arpalhargues e Aurelhac, 20 de julh de 1953) foguèt un poèta pagés occitan de Lengadòc. Comencèt a escriure de poesia quand aviá 20 ans e editèt a partir del mes de mai de 1914 L'Arpagus, un jornalet mesadièr en occitan e en francés, sa granda entrepresa literària, que li conferiguèt una cèrta notorietat dins lo ròdol d'Usès.
