Biography
Alethea Leqetiviti Sokia Boon (born (1984-01-07)7 January 1984) is a New Zealand female artistic gymnast, weightlifter and CrossFit competitor.
Gymnastics
Boon earned a NCAA collegiate scholarship in gymnastics and competed at two Commonwealth Games; Kuala Lumpur in 1998 and Manchester in 2002. Boon was 14 at the 1998 Games, and the youngest competitor on the New Zealand team.
She competed at world championships, including the 2003 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Anaheim, United States.
Later years
Boon later moved to Sydney, Australia and took up CrossFit. She competed at three CrossFit Games.
Boon is also a weightlifter and competes in the 63 kg category. She won the bronze medal at the 2016 Oceania Weightlifting Championships.
