Biography
AJ Andrews is an American softball player that plays for the Akron Racers.
High school career
Playing for Countryside High School, she was named Pinellas County player of the year. She led the state of Florida in stolen bases and batting average as a senior.
College career
Andrews played college softball for the LSU Lady Tigers. Twice she participated in the Women's College World Series. She graduated from LSU in 2015.
Professional career
2015 season
Andrews was selected in the 2nd round of the 2015 NPF Draft by the Chicago Bandits. After the 2015 season, she was traded to Akron.
2016 season
In 2016, she became the first woman to win a Rawlings Gold Glove Award. Andrews also was a co-winner of the Rally Spike Award as the league stolen base leader.
