Agnes Hagerup Bull (7 September 1885 — 23 January 1950) was a Norwegian-American actress and singer. She is known for her work with Fahlstrøms Theater, Oslo, in 1906-1907.
Agnes Hagerup Bull was born on September 7, 1885, in Oslo, Norway, to Edvard Hagerup Bull (1855–1938,) a Norwegian politician, and Theodora Hagerup Bull (1855 — 1924,) a Norwegian writer and author.
She comes from an influential family. Her father was the brother of the famed architect Schak August Steenberg Bull and cousin of the composer Edvard Grieg, and nephew of the violin virtuoso Ole Bull and architect Georg Andreas Bull. Agnes was the elder sister of Norwegian musician/composer Sverre Hagerup Bull (1892 — 1976).
Personal life
On November 14, 1912, Agnes married engineer Eyvind Hagerup Bull (1882-1949), son of Professor Johan Storm Bull and Dina Marie Steineger, on November 14, 1912, in Madison, Wisconsin. Their son, Storm Bull (1913 – 2007,) went on to become a musician/composer and music educator.
Death
Agnes died on January 23, 1950, in Boulder, Colorado, at the age of 64.
