Aaryaan Saxena is an Indian screenwriter. He has written for Bollywood movies like Mickey Virus, Desi Kattey and Saavi- A Bonded Bride. In 2016, he director a short film Half Truth produced by TNV

Aaryaan Saxena was born and raised in a Hindu family in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. During his teenage years he trained to become a professional singer. He participated and won many local singing competitions. After dropping out of college, at age of 20, he moved to Mumbai to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a Play-back singer.

After arriving in Mumbai in November 1998, he experienced initial success with stage-shows. For the next few years, he continued doing stage shows in India and abroad, but could not get his break in playback singing. In the meanwhile, he got a writing assignment of a screenplay for which he was praised by the director. This minor success in writing was followed by many more projects which made Aaryaan change his focus from becoming a playback singer to becoming a screenwriter. Aaryaan’s first big break came in the form of Mickey Virus, starring Manish Paul, Elli Avram. Following the success of Mickey Virus, Aaryaan wrote the script of Desi Kattey starring Sunil Shetty, Jay Bhanushali, Ashutosh Rana, Tia Bajpai, Sasha Agha Khan and Akhil Kapur. Desi Kattey didn’t do well at the box-office, but the script was well received amongst the critics.

His upcoming venture titled Saavi- A bonded bride, helmed by national award winning director Rajeev Kumar for which he has penned down the screenplay and dialogue, is ready to release. He has also written the screenplay and dialogues for ‘Dangerous Facebook’ an erotic thriller starring Mugdha Godse, Rahul Dev and Ruslaan Mumtaz. Aaryaan worked with Sanjay Gadhvi on a love story for Bombay Talkies. In 2016, Aaryaan went on to direct his first short film Half Truth starring Neha Khan which was produced by Pragyesh Singh.

Aaryaan is married and lives in Mumbai with his family.
