Professional career
Arizona Cardinals
On April 30, 2018, Howard was signed by the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent. He was waived on September 1, 2018.
New York Giants
On October 25, 2018, Howard was signed to the New York Giants practice squad. He was released on January 2, 2019.
New England Patriots
On January 8, 2019, Howard was signed to the New England Patriots practice squad. Howard won Super Bowl LIII after the Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams 13-3. He signed a reserve/future contract with the Patriots on February 5, 2019. He was waived on August 30, 2019.
Baltimore Ravens
On October 8, 2019, Howard was signed to the Baltimore Ravens practice squad. He was released on October 15.
Philadelphia Eagles
