જીવન
તેમનો જન્મ સુરેન્દ્રનગર જિલ્લામાં આવેલા લીલાપુર ગામમાં થયો હતો.
સર્જન
તેઓ કિશોર સાહસ કથાઓ અને જીવન ચરિત્રો માટે જાણીતાં છે. તેઓએ ૪૫૦થી વધુ પુસ્તકો લખ્યા છે, જેમાં ૧૦૦ જેટલી કિશોર સાહસકથાઓનો સમાવેશ થાય છે. યુગયાત્રા (૧૯૮૪) તેમની જાણીતી લાંબી વિજ્ઞાન સાહસકથા છે.
