Biography

Winslow Corbett (born 1979) is an American actress and the daughter of Rockford Files supporting player Gretchen Corbett (Beth Davenport).
Corbett toured as Elaine Robinson in the stage version of The Graduate during the 2000s, as well as touring in several other plays, and appeared in the television film A Change of Heart (1998). She is named after her ancestor Henry Winslow Corbett, an Oregon pioneer and United States Senator.

Early life

Born in 1979 and raised primarily by her mother in Los Angeles and Portland, Oregon, Corbett had been acting since childhood. One of her first public roles was that of Dick Deadeye, in the operetta, "HMS Pinafore." Corbett attended The Catlin Gabel School through middle and high school, followed by 2 years at the acting conservatory at SUNY Purchase.

Projects

Corbett has participated in the Haven Project, a Portland, OR program that partners disadvantaged youth with professional actors. Each child/actor team receives a two person original script, written for that child. Together, they block, rehearse and perform the piece.
