Vince Trankina (August 6, 1945,) is an American actor and screenwriter known for his roles in Hill Street Blues (1984), The Wizard (1989), and Dean Quixote (2000).

Trankina was born on August 6, 1945, in Seattle, Washington. He holds an M.F.A. and an M.B.A. degree from UCLA. While a graduate student in the UCLA M.F.A. Acting Program, he adapted, directed, and starred in a scene from Miguel Pinero's "Short Eyes," which won "Best Scene" award in the 1979 Hugh O'Brien Acting Awards.

Trankina is a member of S.A.G., A.F.T.R.A., and Actor's Equity Association.
