Biography

Vilmos Lóczi (Serbian Cyrillic: Вилмош Лоци; 1925–1991), also credited as Vilmoš Loci, was a Yugoslav basketball player.

Playing career

Lóczi played for his hometown team Proleter and Belgrade's team Partizan from 1946 to 1960 in the Yugoslav Basketball League. During time with Proleter he won the National Championships.

Yugoslavia national team

As a player for the Yugoslavia national basketball team Lóczi participated at two FIBA World Championships (1950 and 1954) and three European Championships (1953 in Moscow, 1955 in Budapest and 1957 in Sofia).

Career achievements and Awards

  • Yugoslav League champion: 1 (with Proleter Zrenjanin: 1956).
