Tyrees Addison Lamptey (born September 2, 1994) is a British film director and screenwriter, best known for his unapologetic and profound style of storytelling. Tyrees is a global award-winning/nominated director of Ghanaian descent born and raised in London, England.
His short film Fortvna (2016) earned a special mention at the iFilmmaker International Film Festival, in Spain, his latest short, PAWNS, was accepted into over 20 international film festivals.
Tyrees has filled a multitude of roles on every conceivable film set in the past 9 years, cultivating relationships with BFI Film historians, as well as BAFTA-winning producers.
