Biography
Anthony Jones Labrusca Jr. (born August 7, 1995 in Florida, United States), popularly known as Tony Labrusca, is a Filipino actor, recording artist and a commercial model. Labrusca first gain his popularity via a McDonald's Philippines TV ad in 2016, "Tuloy Pa Rin."
On 2016, he joined Pinoy Boyband Superstar but didn't able to be part of the group on the grand finals. Currently, he is part of Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo's horror-fantasy drama La Luna Sangre.
Personal life
Tony Labrusca is a son of an actor Boom Labrusca and singer Angel Jones. He was born in Houston, Texas, United States but grew up in Los Angeles, California, with his mother, step-father and a sister. When he was 9, they moved to Vancouver, Canada. He then moved back to the Philippines to pursue his career in show business.
Career life
Before Tony Labrusca auditioned for Pinoy Boyband Superstar, he was already a face of various TV commercials. His face became more popular when he played the guy who broke the girl's heart (Elisse Joson) in the viral McDonald's TV ad entitled Tuloy Pa Rin on 2016.
During his audition on Pinoy Boyband Superstar, he was unexpectedly reunited with his biological father, model and actor Boom Labrusca. He was successfully became one of the top contenders and went up to the Top 7 for the grand finals. Unfortunately, he did not make it to the Top 5 as the final member of the BoybandPH.
Later, he joined La Luna Sangre, his first acting project as Jake Arguelles. His character is set to be a love triangle with the countries hottest loveteam of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
