Tamir Blatt (Hebrew: תמיר בלאט; born May 4, 1997) is an Israeli professional basketball player for Hapoel Holon of the Israeli Premier League. He is the son of former basketball player and current coach David Blatt.
Early life
Blatt was born in Netanya, Israel. He played for the Lev Hasharon Youth Team.
Professional career
On August 27, 2014, Blatt signed a four-year contract with Hapoel Tel Aviv.. During his second season with the club, he was selected to the Israeli League All-Star game.
On July 13, 2017, Blatt signed a two-year contract with Hapoel Holon.
National Team
Blatt was a member of the Israeli U-16, U-18 and U-20 National Teams.
In July 2017, Blatt helped the Israeli U-20 national team to reach the 2017 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship finals by averaging 16 points, 10.1 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game.and was voted to the All-Tournament Team.
