Syed Waseem Rizvi

Waseem Rizvi is a Shia Muslim leader and four-time chairman of the Shia Central Board of Waqf in Uttar Pradesh. He is the producer of the Bollywood film Ram Ki Janmabhoomi. He is Shia-Muslim and proposed the shifting of Babri Masjid on one acre of land for Shia Muslims in Lucknow’s Husainabad area. He often expresses his views against Sunni-Islam.He demanded inclusion of the Shia Muslim community in the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019.
