Susan Campbell

Susan Campbell trained as an illustrator at the Slade School of Art, a contemporary of Euan Uglow, Craigie Aitchison and others. In the 1970s she collaborated with Caroline Conran, then food editor of The Times, on several cook books.

She is the leading expert in the field of Walled Kitchen Gardens having begun researching their history in 1981 and having visited over 600 walled kitchen gardens in the UK and abroad.
