Sondra Perry

Sondra Perry (born 1986) is a media artist who has recently been working with the CORE Residency Program at the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, Texas. Perry's work investigates the role of digital technology in the systemic oppression of black identity, often centering on the way the internet and technology influences black bodies and subjectivities. Perry explores the duality of intelligence and seductivity in the contexts of black family heritage, black history, and black femininity.
