Biography
Shorot Francis Gomes (* 15. Dezember 1965 in Hashnabad, Bangladesch) ist ein bengalischer Geistlicher und römisch-katholischer Weihbischof in Dhaka.
Leben
Shorot Francis Gomes empfing am 31. Mai 1990 das Sakrament der Priesterweihe für das Erzbistum Dhaka.
Am 8. Februar 2016 ernannte ihn Papst Franziskus zum Titularbischof von Forma und zum Weihbischof in Dhaka. Die Bischofsweihe spendete ihm der Erzbischof von Dhaka, Patrick D’Rozario CSC, am 22. April desselben Jahres. Mitkonsekratoren waren der Apostolische Nuntius in Bangladesch, Erzbischof George Kocherry, und der Bischof von Sylhet, Bejoy Nicephorus D’Cruze OMI.
