Biography
Lieutenant General Oi Shigemoto (大井 成元, Ōi Shigemoto) was a Japanese general who commanded the 12th Division of the Imperial Japanese Army during the Siberian Intervention.
The division was sent to Siberia in August 1918. Shigemoto later became the commanding officer of the Vladivostok Expeditionary Force.
