Shane Dobbin

Shane Dobbin (born 22 January 1980) is an inline skater and speed skater from New Zealand. He was New Zealand's only competitor in speed skating at the 2010 Winter Olympics, finishing 17th in the Men's 5000m. He was born in Palmerston North.
Dobbin was the first confirmed selection for the New Zealand team to the 2014 Winter Olympics. He was also named the New Zealand flagbearer at the 2014 Winter Olympics opening ceremony. He finished 14th in the Men's 5000m speed skating.
